Spanish Minor

Embark on a linguistic journey with ĢƵ’s Spanish minor. This 20-credit program introduces students to the richness of the Spanish language and culture. Students develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, then expand their study with courses like Conversation and Composition, Spanish Literature for Children and Adolescents, and Spanish-American Civilization and Literature. Immerse yourself in the diverse literary traditions of Spain and Latin America.

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
